Sophia grew up in a very tight apartment where she actually slept on the couch because of her mothers tight budget. Her mom had two jobs so she could keep up with paying for the two of them, her father had died before she was even born. Sophia didn't really mind her mother being so busy but just about raised herself most of the time. By the time she was thirteen the small diner across the street actually allowed her to work there since they knew her and her mom and their situation.
Sophia's mother usually ended up having four husbands by the time she hit eighth grade. Her mothers husbands were usually violent but had enough money to help them out for a little while. She was abused many times, but not as much as her mother, she ignored her mothers stupidity and by the time she was sixteen her mothers newest husband, decided to send her off to Brickhail academy, since he didn't like her around to much, he never saw her as she would be his own daughter. He was the best out of her mothers choices in men, although he wasn't the best she could do. Her mother supported the choice and thought it would be good for her to get away from home for a little while.
* MOTHER Lauren Davenger, Married to Terrence Davenger, no job; loves her daughter and think this school is for the best.
* FATHER Terrance, Lawyer, married to Lauren Davenger, does not care about Sophia, therefore sending her off here to get her out of ' his way'.
